Air Filtration

High-efficiency Media Air Cleaners, Electronic Air Cleaners and HEPA Filters improve your HVAC system’s ability to filter allergens and lung-damaging particles from the air, including: dust and dust mites, bacteria and viruses, pollen, tobacco smoke, pet dander, and cooking smoke and grease.

High-Efficiency Media Air Cleaners yield a higher initial efficiency and maintain high efficiency over the life of the filter: all are efficient at removing particles down to 0.3 microns.
Electronic Air Cleaners remove pollutants that are extremely small. These units contain environmentally friendly lifetime filter systems that never need replacing – they simply wash clean!
Whole-House HEPA Filtration (High-Efficiency Particulate Air) connects to the return-air duct and diverts 1/3 to 1/2 of that air through a tightly sealed filtration system. Depending on the size and design of your home, you can achieve several whole-house air changes a day.

Ventilation

Increased ventilation improves indoor air quality by bringing in more outside air, which can dilute odors and other indoor air contaminants. The climate in which you live will determine which type of ventilator you need, ERV or HRV.

HRVs are generally recommended for colder climates with longer heating seasons.
ERVs are typically for warmer, more humid climates with long cooling seasons.

UV Air Purification

UV Air Purifiers employ UV light to reduce airborne bacteria. Two major factors determine their effectiveness: the intensity of the UV source, and the length of time the bacteria are exposed to the UV light. The longer the bacteria are exposed to the UV light and the more intense the UV rays, the more effective the unit is in reducing airborne bacteria.

Humidification

Dry air can aggravate upper respiratory problems, as well as dry out your skin. Dry air makes your home seem colder in the winter months because it increases the amount of moisture that evaporates from your skin. High-quality humidifiers help you balance the moisture in the air in your home.
